This is a good spot for food and drinks. Live at night, I'd say in a way this is a hot spot, lol. Many Canadians here. I ran into some friends here from Canada, who I haven't seen for over a couple of years, lol. The food here was awesome, Gus Gus (Bbq Bacon wrapped) here was on point, and the Pollo mini burritos were flavorful. Check it out if ur around !!! We got there in the afternoon, n they were setting up for a live band, so I'm sure they get live in the evenings. Many folks said gus gus is the spot !!!
Celebrated my birthday here. Had the Gus & Gus Jumbo shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. Very good!
I had the BBQ wings and let me tell you they were amazing 10/10 They are not small chicken wings they are a good size. I did want to try the Marlin Tacos, but I was already too full at the point must try for next time though. I do recommend all of their food because looking around my surroundings the dishes look delicious. The atmosphere in the place the service and the food was a 10/10. There is live 70’s 80’s rock band. Me and my husband will most definitely come back to this restaurant every time we are in Mazatlan. Thank you Gus&Gus .
Stopped to listen to music. They have music daily and the food and beer were reasonably priced. Had the club sandwich and it was as huge. Good value!
One can never go wrong when you step foot into this open setting bar. Whether you are planning to eat a meal, have drinks, people watch, sports, hang out at the bar area or simply listening to live band playing, always expect good times and laughs at Gus Gus. Servers are generally all good and attentive. Drinks are good. Even though food is not generously portioned/top notch, it still hits the spot especially when comes to the shrimp ceviche... aqua chile... machaca....or chilaquiles. These were really good street tacos — simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and they came with all the right accoutrements to round things out perfectly. The guacamole was super fresh and added a great touch. A solid spot if you're craving authentic, satisfying tacos!
